I saw the men’s event which in fairness did deliver an exciting finish but yes it does seem slightly excessive, particularly as the women’s event clearly wasn’t oversubscribed.
I hope that the BBC hype train doesn’t give the kiss of death to the figure skating pair. They have even been promoted to BBC1.
