I’ve always liked the LibDems and have campaigned for them in the past. But I’m furious with Ed Davey for calling for a vote of no confidence in Starmer given the mess they made of being in the coalition ( and his involvement in the post office scandal). Both Labour and the Conservative Party are full of pretty inexperienced politicians and Starmer himself is relatively new to politics. Alastair Campbell pointed out that people don’t seem to realise what a difficult job being PM is. I think a lot of Labour MPs thought the top job was up for grabs and have made fools of themselves because they have since received a lot of letters supporting Keir. Billy Bragg is asking people to vote for radical left wing politicians which will split votes and let in Reform. Alas the very people that need a socialist government are voting for Reform ( as if they’re there for working or unemployed people ( they’re the party for bitcoin, offshore accounts and money laundering). I’ve just been listening to various interviews with the man who wrote the biography about Andrew ‘Entitled’. Can’t get my head round how far reaching this scandal is with links to Russia, the far east Kazabakstan ( wherever that is), China etc etc. I’ve tried not to get drawn into it all but it’s like staring to watch a very good box set that’s on iplayer…even Michelle Mome has been mentioned…
