I remember the 2002 curling one well.
I always thought that skeleton was even more outrageous than luge being head first but as I understand it control is slightly easier (‘slighty less difficult’ is a better way of putting it) and you can at least see where you are going. Not that you’d catch me anywhere near either of them!
I do wonder if an amateur could hide away in one of the middle seats of a four person bobsleigh while the experts steer it down safely (just for the experience), I imagine it would be quite something.
