Agree with HDLG, some harsh comments above. Ahoy Senor’s recent form figures may not impress, but it was only 10 months ago that he finished fifth in a Grade 1 Chase, under 20 lengths behind the winner, Gaelic Warrior. He finished ahead of the subsequent multiple Graded race winner Djelo that day.
This is hardly a horse who has shown nothing for a very long time. Almost all horses go in and out of form. If he shows nothing in a couple more races I agree that his time as a racehorse is probably up, but think the comments about it being cruel to continue, and that the trainer is tarnishing her reputation, are unfair.
