1st Week Results:
S/R: 5/11 = 45%
LSP: -1.28
A bit disappointing overall but pleasing to note that, apart from the selection in a Seller (which i will avoid from now on) and the mistaken selection of Polar Red, selections have enjoyed a 100% place strike-rate.
At least something is working well!

[No Selection]
Just double-checking my selections and, lo and behold, i made a mistake!
Polar Red shouldn’t have been a selection today – however, i’m including it anyway.
I’ll get the hang of it sooner or later…
Cheers snowman – i’m expecting it to do a bit better than today’s results!

Cheers Bric,
I’ve been watching your ‘meeting of the day’ thread with interest – it looks incredibly good!
The varied results of my system in Sellers means i’ll probably skip them in future. As for the other selection – i think just about everyone fancied BK today, didn’t they? ;)
Well there you go, shouldn’t have bothered! :(
Sunday 14-02-04:
Southwell:
3:30 – Broughton Knows 1st at 3-10
4:00 – Noble Pursuit u/p at 4-1
S/R: 50%
LSP: -0.7
Back tomorrow…
Noble Pursuit: – I would normally avoid selling races but this system hardly ever picks out a selection in a Seller so i’m watching with interest to see how it goes.
Been busy the last couple of days – but i’ll have a think about this.
It’d help if i had the RSB NH version but that won’t stop me coming up with a few ideas. ;)

Hi Daz,
Unfortunately, RSB can’t pick out stuff like "use the last race of the day".
The best i can do is the following:
Highest Value Race on the day
Non-Handicap
SP rank (1st Fav)
RSB FLAT returns a strike-rate of about 30% and a LSP% loss of about 15%
I can try out a few different things like considering the TOP 3 value non-handicaps with un-named fav – just let me know.
Hi Ollie,
RSB is useful, especially for checking through past trends and ‘simple’ rule-based systems.
However, RSB is very popular so these days it is unlikely you will find anything that hasn’t been exploited already.
Let me know if you want me to look at anything for you – PM some ideas and i’ll tell you if they can be checked with RSB.

Hi darrell,
Congratulations on your winner today
I had a bit of spare time today so I decided to run this system through RSB Flat for the last 10 years and see what happened.
Although I couldn’t pin the rules down exactly (had to use 31 days instead of 28, stuff like that) i think it was close enough not to make a significant difference.
Unfortunately, it didn’t perform particularly well! :(
I reckon it’ll work much better for NH races, although i don’t have RSB NH so i can’t say for sure.
Good luck with it anyway! :)
