Can anyone help me with some stats using Racing System Builder?
1. Un-named favourites in the last race at the principle meeting, only if the race is a non- handicap.
If the race happens to be a handicap, start at the top of the card until you come the the first non- handicap and use the un- named favourite in the race.
Iknow it sound a bit complicated but any input on this method would be greatly appreiciated.
Thanks
Daz.:cheesy: :)
January 23, 2004 at 12:03 #51847Hi Daz,
Unfortunately, RSB can’t pick out stuff like "use the last race of the day".
The best i can do is the following:
Highest Value Race on the day
Non-Handicap
SP rank (1st Fav)
RSB FLAT returns a strike-rate of about 30% and a LSP% loss of about 15%
I can try out a few different things like considering the TOP 3 value non-handicaps with un-named fav – just let me know.
January 23, 2004 at 21:33 #51849Hi Woody.
Thanks for your time that would be great, intresting theory on highest prize money race.
Any info would be great, im currently working on a system regarding un-named favs in non handicaps at grade 1, 2 courses chase races of between 16 forlongs up to 24 furlongs only.
Any info on the above would be a big help to me.
Cheers
Daz.;)
January 23, 2004 at 22:38 #51851hi daz
just read your reply to woody thought i would have a look at your system hopefuly i can be of some help.
I have run the following variables though rsb nh for years 1993 – 2002.
course A & B
starting price rank 1st favourite
non handicap chases
Race distance <2miles 1 furlong to 3m
came out with the following
803 wins from 1783 runs for a strike rate of 45.04% but a level stakes loss of 66.56 points.
Sadly a loss but I think you have the bones of a good
system there, will have a tweek around tomorrow with a few more variables if thats helpful to you.
Perhaps Woody can come up with a few ideas
Cheers tuft

It’d help if i had the RSB NH version but that won’t stop me coming up with a few ideas. ;)

February 25, 2004 at 01:27 #51856Hi Darrel,
IMO RSB is a bit of a con. There are no profitable systems to be had from it, what it does is prove beyond all reasonable doubt, that any system that you can put through it will make an overall LOSS. What RSB is really all about is getting you to subscribe to RSBFAST which is access to their own ratings and race prices, which are, inevitably, less profitable every year, as they become more popular and widely used.
Useful tool all the same, helps you find what NOT to bet on !!
