Looking ahead to the weekend and I have a lot of fancies – don’t like when this happens as you never know which ones to narrow it down to.

After much searching I have decided with a number of doubles, trebles and fourfolds on the above excluding the Baggies.
Well a nice tidy profit on football
but all completely wiped out by one of the worst punting days of horse racing in 2 years 
Fulham v Blackburn
I have backed Fulham with Laddies in the win and BTTS. I fancy Fulham here generally but 7/5 is a bit tight. the market norm for win and BTTS is 7/2 Laddies are going 9/2 in a boost so ive said thanks very much

No real hunch at the prices and my record in punting in this comp is utterly atrocious.
PSG, Atletico M to make a lot of progress.
Stoke looks a fair bet. I think I’d want at least 22’s away at Arsenal plus they have a couple out with suspension but like you say Arsenal have yet to pull back the duvet and nearly made a pigs ear of things away at Newcastle against 10 men for large proportion of the game. The centre midfield guy Francis Coquelin looks to be extremely inconsistent one minute looking the best in that position since Vieria and the next minute playing like Tony Adams after 15 pints. Daz has been tweeting me saying that I’m mad for saying Arsenal will not win the league but for me they are lacking in all departments and do not have the strength in depth to muster any kind of title challenge.
Agreed. I think Arsenal will probably win on Sat. I think they have had their ‘shock’ home defeat for a while. It is at which point something becomes value. At the Britannia I would take 7/8’s as value in the same market .
As far as the league goes I see Man C and Chelsea 10 points better than everyone else
Was not going to have a bet but feel the 10’s on Swiss to beat us with BTTS is a tadge over priced and with small stakes – why not?

16’s taken on sportsbook £5.00 Toure. Agree on defenders Nath but if City win the title (4/9) and these players stay fit we are looking at way shorter for this pair.
Toure is 10s with Sky now Nath. Thats a nice bet.
Kompany is still 40s though although there has only been 1 defender in the last 25 years that has won it. Terry in 2004/5 and Pallastor before that. Still a decent bet and fair enough odds£2.50 Kompany 40/1

I’ve gone in again on Shelvey as I don’t think Skybet have re-acted enough with trimming him in from 8’s to 6’s. Getting the call up for this International break is his chance to get the foot in the door and with Swansea under ratted and a decent chance of finishing top 10 or nearer top 6 will push Shelvey’s claims further. Carrick looks deadwood, Delph wont get a game at City, Wilshere will be shagging the nurse whilst Shelvey is in prime if not close to prime condition and is dedicated in hiring his own fitness trainer and chef and is already reaping the rewards for that with early season performances.

Always more than 1 dart in a race – I find I get more winners and subsequently profit. If I could find winners regularly by backing just 1 horse that’s exactly what I would do, but have tried that and winners don’t come round very often. What I need to do is stake more on outsiders as I have found I get more winners north of 10/1 than other shorter priced horses.
