Millerlad fom Belle Vue has now taken over at the top and looks the winner with 3 of his selections in the final, even without the controversial bonus points, he would still be there, never mind it has been a grand competition throughout and best of luck to all 6 dogs in next weeks final.

A special mention must go to Ste of Escorial Racing who has 4 dogs in the final 6.

Also Millerlad, Chocoholic, Silky and Grundy have 3 each in the final.

Very close for the top forum with : Belle Vue Owners just shading Flappers Dream, Final Furlong, Escorial Racing and Hove Owners. This one will go to the wire.

I will be in Ibiza for the final and will update when I return next Wednesday.

Thanks to all for entering your selections and thanks to the forum administrators for their help.

Hopefully I will run another competition in the near future if all forums are interested.

Hi All

Tomorrow night sees the next 8 heats of this great race, nothing can be taken for granted. Right through to the very last heat, there are mouth watering clashes, but heat 8 to me is the best of the bunch. Will Make All crack out and make all or will Shearer lead all the way on the outside or will Frazzled come with a super late burst to catch them all. Hi Guys

What a grand response to the competition.

91 entries from 12 forums.

As the date for the entries is over, 2 players have entered dogs that are only in as reserves so I have put in 2 dogs off the same handicap, at least that gives them a fair start:<br>Dave H from Bookiebusters Count Gelegnite if N/R is now Detagh Davy.<br>Neil from Bookiebusters Zigzag Stewart if N/r is now Blacluan Flight.

As this promises to be one of the classic Derby’s and as everyone has put a lot of effort into picking their selections I am feeling generous this morning and will award :

********* 1 extra point for each heat winner including the FINAL ************

This is a bonus point and will be added into the running totals.

I am just finishing off the spreadsheet which will be hopefully available on the host site<br>www.Escorial Racing by tomorrow morning, I will update it asap after every round so you can keep track of not only your selections, but all of the leaders. I am sure if I have made any mistakes you will soon let me know !!!

I know there is a lot of rivalry between 2 of the forums ( I wont name them but look at the number of entries from them) They know who they are so best of luck to both !!

Thanks to all who have entered and hopefully this will give my sport of Greyhound Racing a much needed boost.

Anyway my little pinkies are 2 inches shorter than last night due to all the typing of names, forums and 546 dogs, so I am off to wrap them around a nice cup of tea!!!!

Hi Guys

Rules will be posted at the weekend, when off work.<br>They will be pretty simple, heat winners will get 6 pts and 2nd’s will get 5 pts etc, total your 6 selections etc will give you a weekly total carried forward to a final figure. Only twist is there will be a handicap of points depending on the market after the 1st round finishes on Sat night, the bigger the price the more start you get, this may stop anyone just going for the market leaders. I will decide what the handicap will be on Sunday and you will then have until maybe Thursday night next week to submit your final entry, this will give me all day Friday to put them all onto a spreadsheet ready for next Saturdays heats.
