Sadly Complete Unknown severed a tendon, and couldn’t be saved.😔

Sadly I have seen this before a few years ago, when a horse fell exactly like Edvardo, he rolled back onto his feet, galloped a few yards and collapsed lifeless. It was as if the body was doing the last kicking, as if it was on the ground violently kicking away, doing the running action. Doesn’t make this sad loss any better.

I thought he fractured his neck in the first fall, then did the same thing while loose, and finished the break, because he fell exactly like he did getting bought down. Whatever happened it was just horrible to watch. Poor fella. RIP Edvardo

I don’t believe Starchitect slipped up, he didn’t even take a so called false step, the cannon bone simply shattered, still a horrible thing to see. He did look like a champion that day, such a great shame.

What is so ironically sad about this poor little girl having to be put down is, the title of the race “racing welfare handicap hurdle. I wish the commentators, and presenters wouldn’t sugar coat these horrendous breakdowns of the horses. Just tell the truth, these things matter, because it’s a sad loss to all connections with the horses. R.I.P Evening Hush
