That last post was still on my computer from yesterday but i bottled putting it on because my losing streak and confidence putting bets up on here. so wrote it up and left the computer without submitting it
i need to keep the faith. It’s stressful tipping on hereInteresting race at Nottingham the 3:20 1m 6f
MOONRISE LANDING is obviously not 100% for the fact they haven’t gone for the aw marathon final
big lay off since last May so big doubts thereWALL OF FIRE lazy runner how will he fare in a slowly ran race? too short for me
TRIP TO PARIS has been in poor form since his injury and i couldn’t bet on him
ELIDOR could be the one to be on over this trip @ 6/1
£60 ELIDOR @ 7.40
COTE DAZURE….. too temperamental and one to avoid!
CYMRO never been held up and just isn’t a come from the back horse! Out for a spin yesterday IMO
with the excuse ‘trips too short for him’Not going well, leaving the bets until CONVEY runs in the Easter classic.
Pontefract 4:10
Decent westerly tail wind today, don’t really fancy anything on form, 3 possible front runners probably Empress Ali from stall 1
Seemingly needs softer conditions never won on re appearance and highest rating he’s ever been at 90
Just Hiss normally held up and may not make up the ground from the rear today.
Never liked FINAL although race will suit AW form looks ok, small horse. wether he will be as good back on turf I don’t know so too short for me to take in this handicap.I couldn’t resist CYMRO 4 places @ 7/1 genuine horse will be up with the pace does take to good ground but I’m concerned about speed at the finish seems to stay on in testing 1m 4f but shown speed at 6f as juvenile and think he’s the best horse in the race.
£50 E/W CYMRO @ 7/1 (4 places)
Giving COTE DAZURE another chance will relish the ground. Quirky horse but knows how to win. was far too lit up on re appearance at Wolverhampton and Buick being booked is interesting, but would need more like 14/1
Both headed near the finish today
gallant effort from success days. Not a good start to the new thread
Re assessed The 3:30 and I’ve undervalued BLUE DE VEGA’s form over 7f vs ALICE SPRING and receiving weight I feel I’ve missed the value being with BLUE DE VEGA @ 5/2 so I’ve put a saver on him.
Wish I put blue de vega up in the double now, oh well.
£134 BLUE DE VEGA @ 9/4
EASTER CLASSIC LINGFIELD
CONVEY got the better of ABSOLUTE BLAST who had a fitness advantage and a better whip round further up with the slow pace and had every chance on the inside route but couldn’t match convey’s power. Had Battallion for this before the winter Derby
£200 CONVEY @ 11/4
Saver BATTALION @ 8/1Thought you would do Majoris yesterday Jac… Hugo Palmer, son of Frankel…. I didn’t really give it much of a chance on form.
I noticed, last year your first losing year, was due to backing Hugo and Frankels off a cliff blind at times. Just though I’d mention it and hope you don’t mind. Maybe something to watch out for because we all get attached to certain horses and it’s a negative a lot of the time. Good luck for the season!
NAAS
3:30 Alice Springs is the class horse here very much like
£300 @ EVS
4:05 Success days will take some pegging back tomorrow over a tactical 10f and 7/2 is fair
£150 @ 7/2
ALICE & SUCCESS DAYS 8/1 double £75
£180 on Law and order Saved me today
Confident to get the ball rolling. With a winner today.
Leopardstown 4:00
£200 YUCATON @ 7/4
Ryan moore’s pick has an over the top ground action
Beat a small distance by Capri in soft going, Yucatan should show further improvement against Capri on the better ground and is recieving 5lbCarrington was abysmal although set off at 5/1
Thanks VTC clean sheet so far haha! Fox Norton winning hurt I highly fancied him too. Tizzard form coming into today put me off and the step up. Although he saw his other races out strongly. Strongly fancied them two today on the good ground
Aintree 3.25 £100 SUB LUITENANT @ 3/1
Leicester 4:15 £100 CARRINGTON @ 10/1
Will be a good ground national this year for sure. Will that see the better rated horses come to the fore? Can see top weight winning this year if it is good ground, which I’m pretty sure it will! The last Samurai @ 16/1
I’m Using sky racing now. They ruined sporting life, apart from one really good thing…. Watching the re runs on any device!
Sam
Buick and Crowley should know better! It was a shocker Phil especially Crowley on Muntaha who seemed to be travelling well.
Did they think it was only out of them two? Went for home a long way outDoubt Frontiersman needs good or better Jac, softer side of good will be no problem looking at his action. His win looked impressive at Newmarket but up against what? Chemical charge will be more effective on better ground though and that big string of 2nds is definitly off putting. Muntaha’s Ascot run is the pick of the form. Would be frontiersman at the prices and Muntaha saver for me I think but with the lay offs and who’s improved over the winter I might have the refrain from a bet!
