doesn’t anyone here bet to the draw?
thankyou for your advice and input. wm hill have now contacted me over a “security” issue, opened a new account and deposited my money in it. hopefully that is the end of the matter. your comments re patterns and Profit and Loss ae very interesting
so i post a perfectly legitimate post and get one sarcastic reply. does anyone here actually bet?
i still think he was given a crap ride
i notice a lot of you talking about the demise of the betting shop, but here in this small town corals have taken over the independents, ladbrookes have opened two new shops and paddy power have opened a shop next door to one of corals. someone somewhere must be funding all this, can it be justthe machines?
thanks, aji, for taking the time to reply. i am very disappointed in the rest of you forumites, i thought a bit of communication and help would be of interest to other racegoers
thanks, rob – didn’t see anything in the press about this – and a very useful link
i too remember the red rum/crisp race and then (as probably now) was alone in thinking what a crap ride pitman gave crisp – such a gallant horse deserved better
I watched it in my hotel room in Doncaster for the first time since I was last in Doncaster about 4 years ago.
They told me absolutely nothing about the day’s racing, Cheltenham was covered briefly, mainly over would they or wouldn’t they, Doncaster (albeit abandoned later) nothing at all.
They seemed concerned with what went on in the preceding week, which it pointless as it had no bearings on today’s racing. And they talk about Pricewise as if he is the be and end all in tipping.
It has a long way to go to compare with Mark Your Card and it will proably be another 4 years or so before I tune in again.
i can only come to 2 conclusions:
1 there are no racing uk subscibers on here
or
2 they are ALL going to aintree on their free ticket
terry
Racing UK send out vouchers either for free or discounted tickets to their subscribers. I’m going to Aintree with mine but taking friends, so if anyone wants to exchange their aintree vouchers for any other racing uk meeting we can use private e-mail to exchange details etc.
terryi have a knack of stopping this thread !!!
hi, as i said previously, i moved to racing sense after the electronic formbook folded. concentrating on certain races i make good (imo)profits. Also, i find the software easy to use and Mick the owner is more than helpful
terryan excel spreadsheet does the job, then you can also filter the data, run what if’s, etc.
terry
was this grey flat or jumps ?
yes, still using racing sense, if you (or anyone else) is interested i’ll post my bets. couldn’t access the stats site – i’ll try again next week
terry
hi, surprised no comments to my post – or did it get too far down the topic list ?
