wow! just seen it….. i like the comparisons with zafonic. was there that day at HQ when eddery emerged out of the gloom with all others off the bridle. the horses he beat that day were top class– barathea e.g. Zafonic did not surpass the guineas win (sadly) but khalid is a good listener normally and i hope they go st james palace/ july cup/ breeders cup route. as to a match between the 2. well as it stands now frankel’s beaten nothing as a 3yo and zafonic beat his lot. in a virtual race i’d put Eddery tickling Queally’s balls at the 2 furlong pole.
