Sent you a pm Ginge…..
Looking unlikely for spare badges this year for Newbury Ginge., will be able to come up with something once renewals are through for 2018
Softie won’t believe it, a bet at Plumpton!
.
A profitable day at Plumpton too Ginge……. Lingfield next as well
How the devil are you Ginge? Nice to see you posting again and getting success. If you fancy a days racing sometime, i`m sure we can wangle a spare badge between us. Good luck today.
Whether you take anything at all from trainer
s comments i don
t know, but heres Balding
s thoughts on Perfect Angel.“Perfect Angel has got a great chance. She’s a decent filly, won well at Goodwood where the form has worked out very well and she ought to take all the beating in this”.
Very interesting thread all, but i cannot believe how little praise there is for Mutakayyef. This horse has run an immense race, and has improved all season. Racing Post argue that he was running on one paced before being hampered, but having watched the replay again i feel that he was closing, albeit slowly, with every stride, and when Hanagan had to stop riding and those vibes may well have transferred to the horse thinking he had done enough, and stopped going forward himself.
I would take slight issue with the comment that Varian would not have run him if all was not well. With this owner i get the feeling if he had instructed the trainer to run him in a 3 mile chase at Cartmel, he would have to, or lose the whole string! We can but hope Softie.
Keep the faith Ginge., to me that run was a fair bit better than the result might suggest.
Fingers crossed for Mutakyyef Ginge, if he comes up short it won
t be for the lack of effort, that
s for sureInappropriate content? Well not always VTC – when he puts up Romsdal as a main bet, now THAT is highly inappropriate
Sorry Ginge but that horse WILL haunt you!!
Plenty of hard work in there Ginge , hopefully there will be a pay off.
From what i can see Broadway Buffalo has had 4 attempts in this grade without success. Maybe his jumping is put under too much pressure by the quality of horse he`s up against once the pace increases?
Think maybe old Flemensfirth might have dodgy knees by now – his nipper might run okay though
Good luck today Ginge.
Yeah good call on Unioniste Mark, nicely done.
Another decent profit on the day Mark
Nice one Nathan – like that image!
Appreciate you
re on a bit of a sabbatical at the moment Ginge, but have had a look at the 2.00 Ludlow today and reckon that there may well be another Otago Trail type bet, again with Venetia Williams
Take The Mick.
All in place for a big run with the others having ground, trip, fitness or form issues. Should go from the front and simply out jump and out stay this field. Now watch it all go bosoms up

Not seen any racing this week Softie. Saw the result of Take The Mick though. Well clear of the rest. <img src=”https://theracingforum.co.uk/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_sad.gif” alt=”:-(” class=”wp-smiley”>Hope you`re having a good week Ginge
Takin The Mick did just that with his jumping and i under estimated the winners ability to stay the extra distance. ought to have had a little saver thereNice one Nathan – like that image!
