Coverage of horses in the paddock has gone downhill since the early days of coverage by the BBC. A fixed camera position and a chance to the horses one at a time from side on.
These days we must have personalities and talking heads.

Strings Of Life first winner for first season sire SLADE POWER at Newmarket 4.10 this afternoon.
Daphinia a winner for first season sire KUROSHIO at Wolverhampton yesterday.

One of the pre-season favourites in the top First Season Sires, NO NAY NEVER, has his first runner today at Dundalk 6.00. The Irish Rover appears to be the second choice of the stable (A.P.O’Brien) with the Scat Daddy sired Sergei Prokofiev heading the market.
Jungle Inthebungle, Lingfield 2.55, a second winner for FSS BUNGLE INTHEJUNGLE.

Twenty entries for the first 2-y-o race of the season, the Brocklesby, and the fact that FSS BUNGLE INTHEJUNGLE has three of those suggests his stock are proving precocious. Could be this years Sir Prancealot?
