Thanks for your reply AP. I was hoping someone would recommend an old school independent that was happy to lay a bet. I go racing when the opportunity allows, I use Betfair regularly too, it’s just frustrating backing horses at much shorter prices than they were advertised at in the morning.

Hi Chaps,

I’m a long time reader but first time poster on this forum, so go easy on me. Like many of you I’ve had my accounts restricted or closed by the bookmakers. With the liquidity on Betfair poor up until 10 minutes before the off, I’ve become frustrated as the horses I look for, which are generally in handicaps, are considerably shorter by this time, which in turn is making it increasingly hard to turn profit. Could anyone recommend an independent bookmaker that is willing to lay a bet and won’t close my account within a few weeks of dealing with them? Thanks
