Obviously Cue Card the highlight and deciding factor in it, just hope may favourite horse can get back next year in same form to try get Gold cup to his CV, but I think this year was his year.. Would have he, wouldn’t have he got passed the Don up the hill, I know what camp im in, but I might be a trifle biased.
Anyway If Cue Card doesn’t get it in 2017, I fell MR Tizzard has a very special one ready to go chasing with how can surpass even Cue Cards exploits.

515 UtilityAbsolutely delighted for the horse and connections,, been a real favourite of mine since his first bumper win then hacking up at 40s in Champion Bumper. Was absolutely gutted for it, te most ive ever been for a horse – and have been since Cheltenham(and not just the four figures £ it costs me) when it fell at Cheltenham when I knew having seen horse run time and time again, it was just getting interested and had plenty left.
It would have won the Gold Cup ill say it till the day they are putting me 6 feet under, it is a new horse this year, finds plenty, stays well.
Afraid next year might just be a little far for it as an 11 years old, I hope it gets there in the same form and see if he can win one, but I think the stable might have a lurker waiting to go chasing that might surpass even him in ability stakes.
Vautour/ Cue Cuard / Thistle Crack / Coneygree / Don Cossack all to get there in tip top form next year please.
