Lami serge and vaniteux different owners. Henderson said arkle before and after race. Also lami serge owners have already confirmed bristol de mai is very likely to run in the jlt , and there other chaser with henderson vyta du roc started over 2m1 and henderson says he runs over 2m3 at Doncaster on friday. So he’s also likely to go jlt at the festival.

I’d be 98% sure lami serge arkle

Thanks steeple chasing altior is a danger for sure,
Im done for ante post on the supreme and have big bets on the above.
But my plan is that hopefully there’s going to be a £50 max bet special for supreme nr free bet like last year with a couple of bookies. And by that time hopefully mins won the Moscow flyer to keep the prices out, and with another run, I should know if altior is the danger, I will use my accounts and get the the mrs to use her accounts all on one horse to cover. And use the free bets on the Handicaps.

Shaneshill impressed me a lot there, has certainly come on for the run and powered away despite making a novice mistake.
I’m sure he will get plenty more schooling over fences and looks the jlt winner for me.

One thing we learned for sure, is that kitten rock won’t be winning a graded novice race at cheltenham

“I’m really looking forward to running L’Ami Serge over fences for the first time on Sunday at Plumpton 1.10pm, and we’ve just got to start somewhere. I’ve found it difficult to find the right race to start him in – and it’s the same for several of my top novice hurdlers from last season, there’s a real dearth of opportunity for novice chasers – it’s dire really. He is definitely an Arkle horse, and I would have no worries about the ground for him.”
iv got big expectations for lami serge over fences.

I have a list of all willies novices and new recruits which I compiled myself by searching agonisingly through france galop deportations list for the private sales, which is where I found min And the NH and arqana auction sales lists.

People will not agree with me, but all willies horses I pick on the form and what i believe there ability to be but in regards to there targets i use a line through paddy powers odds. Whatever there standout top price on, I will not touch, whatever they are shortest about or don’t have at all in the market for the betting in that race interests me alot.
Nicholls canyon been 8s all summer for the champion and standout for wh
Yorkhill they put straight in the market at 12s for the supreme.
Min they haven’t laid above 14s.
Bellshill neptune were lowest price 10s
And up for review they diddnt add to the market until yesterday at 7s
    Limini lowest price 5/1
And more interesting to me is karalee who they haven’t got in the market at all yet for the mares novice hurdle

Imo hell of a job by the traders.

Very very happy with my book, like you said iv backed plenty but I have staked accordingly so I win evenly. And having horses at huge prices that are now favs has allowed me the luxury of being able to go back in and back horses like shantou village and up for review.
Because coupled in each race I still have atleast 4/1 in each race. With all the main market principles covered at double figured prices.

The pick of my bets are
    Tombstone 168.0 supreme 110/1 neptune
    Min 25/1 supreme
    Douvan 3/1
    Yanworth 12s any race
Bellshill 14s neptune 8s any races
Shaneshill 17.55 jlt 8s any race
Yorkhill 10s any race 32.0 supreme
    Long dog 12s any race
    Barters hill 10s any race.
    Thistle crack 25/1 world hurdle
    More of that 16s rsa
    Kilultagh vic 24.0 rsa
    Djakadam 14/1 GC
    Ivanovich gorbitov 25/1 Triumph
Nicholls canyon ch 20/1 ew max bet.
Faugheen ch 5/2 and max bet 6/4.

My poor bets are townshend supreme
    Clondaw court world hurdle
    And Nambour albert bartlett

    Got most right

Certainly was impressive, my only poor bet so far backing nambour for the bartlett ahead of up for review who I just thought got exposed in bumpers.
Willie said he ran him too much last year and is likely he won’t run again before chelt.
Also he spoke about soft ground not being in up for reviews favour and certainly not a preferance as I had heard people banding around previously.
For this reason iv gritted my teeth and gone in at 8s with hills and also backed shantou village any race at 10s.
Already on barters hill any race at 10s
If either barters or shantou go neptune the other 2 will drop dramatically in price.

The only other I like who iv backed at big prices on the machine is pylon thepressure, he ran with great credit in the punchestown champion bumper behind bellshill and also behind tombstone in his maiden hurdle, well clear of the rest.
In both races he was running over an inadequate trip and Imo he will improve for a step up in trip and showed great heart in his previous bumpers.
Hope to see him out in another maiden hurdle soon over 2m4 +

Good to see lami serge entered up once again, assume the entry means he’s got over his chest infection.
I’d be assuming that this won’t affect his ability.
Genuinely believe from nicky hendersons tone of voice the story about lami having a trapped epiglotis last year and him being distraught that he diddnt finish in the top 2 in the supreme, he was adamant that this is a much better horse than he showed on that occasion.
It’s very rare I will believe a trainers excuses but on this occasion it
Led me to backing him at 14/1 for the arkle to cover my 3/1 douvan.

Surely don poli gets massively outpaced and too far back in the gold cup to win??
can’t believe his price for the gold cup, and in running people are cueing up to back him no matter how much he is being ridden and how far back he gets in a race, they expect him to keep at it and fly up the hill.
Imo an excellent bit of placing by willie mullins as he’s face nothing that’s top class and in form.
Be interesting to see what price he will be in running 2 out in the GC 15 lengths behind and hard driven, my guess will be no bigger than 6/1.

    That’s what nrnb is for.
I’m glad ruby diddnt give him a particularly hard race in terms of him still having a top 3 chance in the champion.

Got to start giving credit where its been due for some time to long dog, he stuck at his job very well there. Was impressed with gordon elliotts Tombstone and especially petit mouchoir and the jockey james ricou who got him to settle beautifully after taking an early pull, I think he’s a horse of great potential with a step up in trip on the cards.

He’ll of a race tomorrow at leopardstown with long dog bachasson petit mouchoir and tombstone.
Couldn’t call it myself and going to be very interesting, I’m suprised long dog hasn’t been saved for the 2m4 lawyers hotel grade 1 at naas against bellshill.

I personally thing DON COSSACK is going to give these a mighty beating, he will go un noticed for nearly the whole race, switched off just popping his fences, i think vautour comes up to the last just coming off the bridle and the don looms up jumps the last and once cooper asks him the question he powers away from the rest of the field.
9/4 for the GC by Sunday morning.

Just watched all rashaans runs and he looks good, he finds plenty for pressure of the bridle, through a form line of Lagastovegas I’d be of the opinion that footpad has the beating of him, footpad was on the bridle throughout and wasn’t asked for much at all from ruby, finishing 6 lengths clear. rashaan beat him around the same distance and was impressive, but he was hard driven and off the bridle a fair way out from home. It will be very interesting to see what footpad finds of the bridle at leopardstown, assuming that ruby needs to ask him the question.
