This is the problem the relationship with gambling most of my family disapprove of me having a punt they still view bookies as smoky dens with blanked out windows.

The BBC treated the Grand National coverage as a programme in it’s own right, it was a national institution and as such it was fronted by people such as Des Lynam. The public didn’t care if he was an expert on the sport he was a known and friendly face who they could relate to. Later we had Sue Barker and Claire Balding although Claire had a background in racing.

They will want to keep in around London so it will almost certainly be Ascot or Sandown. London these days doesn’t sleep regardless of the occasion so I can’t see it causing many issues.

Never liked the fourth day to me all the excitement ends on Thursday. The Gold Cup supported by novice/juvenile hurdles, mares chase and the foxhunters doesn’t really excite me.

I agree Mike take the winner out GDC is 12l clear. I don’t buy all this making excuses, Galopin was travelling like the winner two out and got beaten by a better one on the day.
