TBH this race is basically a Match race. However the third spot could be anyones. I think the battle for third will be between Imperial Commander, Madison du Berlais and Carruthers, but i cant pick between them.

I think Solwhit should win this providing he runs to somewhere near his best, as you say i think voler la vedette should go well with her allowance.

I also like the look of Washington Irving, good enough to finish 5th in the derby. Beat what he had to at carlisle and could be one of the best value bets at 25’s :D

I dont think she;s been added to the betting, but the Irish Mare For Bill, could be a very interesting contender if she lines up. Unbeaten so far and won her first hurdle race last time out over 2m 4f, but i think a strong pace and a drop back to 2m at cheltenham will be right up her street.

I like the look of Weird Al at 14’s, very big horse with lots of scope, and will be a definate Gold Cup horse in seasons to come.

Has the very vital Course form, which can catch out some Novices, and when winning over 2m 5f at Cheltenham in early December, looked as if he was crying out for the step up in trip.

I think this years Champion Hurdle is a punting nightmare and i wont be backing anything until all the trials are run :D

From what I have seen Go Native & Solwhit are the best bets, due to there recent form and the class they have shown.

I can’t be having Zaynar as fav simply because his beat a bunch of decent stayers, and as far as im concerned all we can conclude from his preformances is that he has 4 legs :)

If i was going to back an outsider Medermit would be the one for me. Been the only king horse holding his form this season, and should enjoy coming of the strong pace.

Hi all new to this forum :D

I would like to see Paddy Pub run in the National, would need a 4lb rise in the weights but stays and jumps well.
