I completely agree with pogle!

We don’t want to offend anybody but it has to be said – where do they think the 5,000 horses that are retired each year end up!?! The over production of these race horses has devastating consequences for the animals who are not good enough!

You mention that it is sad to see a horse die on the race track, but what about the 3,000 or so race horses that are gruesomely slaughtered in England because they didn’t make "the cut"? I think that we should be thinking about these poor horses who have a much more terrifying death than those who are killed on the track!
