Being a employee in racing i know alot about instructions and soo on i dont think any off the rides paul norton has given any of the goldie horses are of any sort question , the vast majority of goldies horses are hold up and many do struggle to lay up at the start of races . Mr Norton is still a 7lb claimer and has only rode 5 winners all of which are hold up horses , nor if he was to off won on regent secret or so botham , river falcon am sure you’s would have classed it as some of the best rides this season !! Clearly river falcon is now geting older and the set up to 7 furlongs at ayr proved to benifet finishing a close 3rd and also was back marker that day a little more understanding of what Mr Nortons instructions and perhaps how good the actual horse is in the race should maybe be taken into account !! I’m sure he is one to watch in the future !!
