Hi Andrew, you’ve been away have you moved in with Sponge bob square pants in a pineapple under the sea?

Kent are available at 25’s but generally 16’s only 10’s on betfair. it’s great to be so late into the season with everything still to play for. I’m very proud of Somerset’s season. I also noticed Surrey are 200/1  to be champions with Exrabet mission impossible with them only having one game left.

That could be just the opportunity Tahir needs to establish himself with a county, then, having previously found himself down the spinners’ pecking order at both Yorkshire and most recently Middlesex. At 29 he’s no Spring chicken, mind, so let’s see how he goes on from here.

    gc

Imran Tahir is leaving Hampshire to go and play in South Africa. His first class county championship record for Hants this season was 6 matches, 191.5 overs, 38 maidens, 558 runs conceded, 32 wickets at a cost of 17.43.

Hampshire’s acting manager Giles White said (according to teletext) "He’s done a great job. He’s been the catalyst to all our positive results."

Hampshire now top of the county championship a great effort by them after a terrible start to the season although i cant see them winning it having played a game more than the chasing pack. It’s extremely close up there but WHO’S GOING TO WIN IT?

    Table – Played = Points

    Hampshire – 15 = 160
    Somerset – 14 = 159
    Durham – 14 = 157
    Notts – 14 = 156
    Kent – 14 = 147
    Sussex – 14 = 141
    Lancashire – 14 = 135
    Yorkshire – 14 = 135
    Surrey – 15 = 119

Hi Zilzal, thought id give you some company!

    Newcastle Win vs Hull 4/6[/color:1d4gv35p]

Sheff Utd Win at Derby 7/5[/color:1d4gv35p]

    Morcambe Win at Barnet 15/8[/color:1d4gv35p]

    Ladbrokes decimal odds of 11.50[/color:1d4gv35p]

Hoping that Newcastle are fired up after recent events at St James Park. Barnet have lost 5/5, 7/7 if you count the cups don’t know if Morcambe are much better but they did beat Shrewsbury. Derby are also having a bad start so hope Sheff Utd can take advantage.

Nice to see that Worcestershire have announced that their new pavilion will be named after Hick and the best news for the players is that it will be built above flood level.

I’ve not seen anything about this meeting on here.Do you feckwits do everything via pm?

    PM me the details

If you have Gamble on your confirmed list-I’m in :D

Anyways, you all know what I look like, so anytime you see me at the races say hello 8) (deleted- Admin)

It was last arranged in the horse racing section under the thread ‘day out at Cartmel’ for some reason, blame Grayson if that’s confusing.

13th of November is the date if you or Gamble can make it great. if not if i ever see around the races or outside of HM prison i will say hello.

Quote – ‘Were these men fitter back than or were the standards and level of competition much less body draining?’

How hard can it be to point a bat at a ball one wonders? And then trot a few yards? I’d always imagined they could keep going until they were collecting the pension without any trouble.

You should try playing the game in my back garden with my step son, when one of those wind balls hits you in the bullseye without a box on you know it.

Gamble, I’ve now retired to the south-west coast with my pipe and slippers man
Still got a base, of sorts, 80 miles up the M5-So it’s all good :D

Jilly perhaps if you are in the South West region in November you could meet up with a few of the TRF members at Taunton.
