I have noticed that Ladbrokes do cut your selections very quickly, GT. Any chance you could hold off placing bets with them so other bookies may be inclined to match Ladbrokes price and to enable better liquidity in Betfair markets. Bookies have always reacted quickly to overnight shrewdie money so you’ll need to change your tactics to get on a decent sized bet for yourself.
Just tried signing up but it seems as though its a Ladbrokes product and they would not let me register for a betting account!!! Beware
Agree with your “No half measures/stakes though” comment. Your selections must carry full confidence or none at all. You’ve got the right mentality GT, cheers
Sounds an exciting idea Softie. I remember the Racing Post tried this idea a few years ago when the bookmakers identified the Feature Race of the Day and Pricewise would put up a tip. Doesn’t necessarily have to be a handicap race but a race of your choosing.
By the way what has happened to Tom Segal – aka – Pricewise? His tipping results have been awful this year. -114PTS so far this year, according to the following link
Thanks for that. Also I wondered if you have changed your opinion of Don Poli’s chances of winning next years Gold Cup given the impressive performance of Vautour. You stated minimum price of 9/2 – bookies best price is now 6/1. Do you still think that is worth taking?
Hi GT – I remember that sometime last year you said that you would be posting your tips more often especially during midweek. Is this something you have put on hold for some reason or purely time constraints. I am sure that your followers would love more of your selections.
In the past you also stated that you left your paid employment and now earn your income purely as a gambler. I wonder if you could tell us a bit more about how it’s gone so far from a personal and financial point of view. For instance I am sure it’s not as glamorous as people think and the discipline required must be a massive factor. Do you gamble on most days? Do you use trading as part of your strategy? Apologies for being so nosy but it’s such an interesting subject and one many of us aspire to !!!
