Thanks for the reply GT. You are right that typically you don’t normally post so near to start of a race though I do appreciate that if you see value then you’ll post whenever.
One other thing I have noticed is that if you post the night before and the Betfair market is still very weak the recommended bookmaker often cuts their odds fairly swiftly thus your top price is no longer available. They know you’re too good. Is it not better to wait at least for the Betfair market to establish before posting so that you can get on to your recommended stakes rather than the pittance the said bookmaker will allow you?

I have been refreshing this page every half an hour today expecting that you may find something at Ascot to bet on but I still managed to miss your 1.20 tips (luckily for me as they all lost) and would have been gutted to watch one of them win. I have noticed that Ladbrokes do cut your selections very quickly, GT. Any chance you could hold off placing bets with them so other bookies may be inclined to match Ladbrokes price and to enable better liquidity in Betfair markets. Bookies have always reacted quickly to overnight shrewdie money so you’ll need to change your tactics to get on a decent sized bet for yourself.
Just tried signing up but it seems as though its a Ladbrokes product and they would not let me register for a betting account!!! Beware
Agree with your “No half measures/stakes though” comment. Your selections must carry full confidence or none at all. You’ve got the right mentality GT, cheers
Sounds an exciting idea Softie. I remember the Racing Post tried this idea a few years ago when the bookmakers identified the Feature Race of the Day and Pricewise would put up a tip. Doesn’t necessarily have to be a handicap race but a race of your choosing.
By the way what has happened to Tom Segal – aka – Pricewise? His tipping results have been awful this year. -114PTS so far this year, according to the following link
