To see a horse I falgged up, Sahara Kingdom, is running in a Class 4 at Lingfield today is a tad disappointing. 2/5 is hardly appealing either.
Dancing David ran into fourth so I’m geeting on Tamaathul as my e/w ante post Derby bet but I may have to request a price.
I liked the way Taamathul won today … he seems to travel with ease and has a decent turn of foot to go 4L clear when out front.
He was behind Dancing David on his debut but I think if they raced again Taamathul would have the beating of him. Will be interested to see how DD runs in the RP tomorrow. I had Taamathul down as a possible Derby candidate on debut and if DD runs credibly I think I’ll get on ante post.
You’re not wrong about the Horris Hill Zarkava. I guess anything that runs can be eliminated on the trends? Clearing of Gosden’s the only decent animal out of the race in the last decade.
The Horris Hill is just as interesting for me as the RP Trophy on Saturday. Some really smart 2yos could be on show. Inler looks like he will see a quick return to the track following his very impressive debut. Godolphin have five unbeaten to pick from – Sahara Kingdom is the one that I like the look of. Pastoral Player of Hugie Morrison’s may race … if the horse chooses to. Oasis Dancer is entered following the big sales success. Will be interested to see what is still entered im a couple of days time.
Mont Agel looked a class animal when winning his maiden at the second time of asking. What route do you have in mind for him next season?
Possibly the craven Stakes
I guess that takes Fighting Brave out of any reckoning
Was taken by the performance of Godolphin’s Sahara Kingdom at Linfield today. Had it all to do and powered past the field on the outside, going round the bend at Lingfield.
Aultcharn easy to back at 5/1. I’m hoping Regal Park is Noseda’s star 2yo (not hard this season with only two 2yo winners).
Really enjoyed following this thread. I too was impressed with the way the Beckett filly won today considering the amount of work Seb had to do on her from the moment she jumped out the stalls.
Mont Agel could be one to keep an eye on as well although the form line isn’t too clear at the moment.
As a sidenote, I’ll be interested to see how Aultcharn goes in the first at Newbury tomorrow.
