Missed the Ryanair Pricewise – how did Segal go for?
Thanks,
MMMissed the Ryanair Pricewise – how did Segal go for?
Thanks,
MMI take all your points on board and i hear where you are coming from.
But just because he is a Stoute horse it doesn’t justify his price. Even at 2/1 he is too short.
His price does not reflect his exploits on the race course. Beaten first time out, winning a maiden and winning a virtual sprint does not equal a 2/1 price.
Put it this way, if a horse not owned by the Queen and trained by Stoute what price would he be.
Instead of Carlton House winning that sprint in the Dante, what if it was a maiden winner was from the lets say Henry Candy of Micheal Bell yard? What price would it be then?
That’s my point, the love affair with this horse and who its trained by is ultimately turning it into a far too short a price.
I’m not knocking this horse whatsoever – he could win the Derby but at that price, i’m willing to take my chances elsewhere. If he touches evens you’ve got the lay him…
To me he seems like more of a Champion Stakes horse, a real 10f colt
