Yes i agree, Sea the Stars was amazing and the way Mick Kinane rode him was briliant! I prefer the jumps but have really enjoyed the flat season
Luv "Choc" Thornton, lush hair !!!!!
My attention was drawn to McKelvey when i was watching the build up to the Grand National. Clare Balding was talking to one of the presenters of "The One Show" and they were discussing McKelvey and the stable web-cam that had captured his preparations. It was so upsetting to learn that he had been fatally injured. What a lovely horse he was, it’s so sad. RIP McKelvey x
Thanks "the Jackal" for the info you gave me regarding Kauto’s run at Aintree. I wasn’t sure if he had done that course before. I’m looking forward to seeing the race and hope he gets round okay. I’m a fan of Kauto Star but i admire Denman as well, do you? Thanks again
Thanks, Fist of Fury and Truman 31 for your comments on Denman & co, enjoyed reading them. Chuckled at the short comment on "Choc" Thornton’s hair lol (laughing out loud) ! Any more racing info, would like to hear it. Hope you enjoyed Cheltenham as much as i did.
Just read the post about that poor horse EAST TYCOON. That sounds like a terrible accident, i’m glad i didn’t see it. I’m sure he’ll have been put out of his pain and suffering immediately but it’s such a waste of a lovely creature. RIP EAST TYCOON, sleep well x
I watched the race in which Detroit City had a fatal fall and i was absolutely devastated. It seems such a waste of a beautiful horse with such talent. I enjoy watching horse racing but since Detroit City, Granit Jack and others, i sometimes find it difficult. Does anybody else feel the same?
