Is Glenn ( apart from being very knowledgable ) the wittiest/funniest person on the forum?
Dissappointed that Federer joined the CrashBangWallop of Nadal and was beaten – why did he not try some guile? , some change of tactics e.g go to the net more often.
Nadal is a multiple French Open winner alongside Borg , Lendl , Wilander and Courier.
The following have never won in France – Sampras , Federer , Connors , McEnroe , Becker , Edberg.
I know which group I admire more.
In my opinion nothing in tennis comes near to the excitement in the 1980 Borg/McEnroe match.

Enghien is easily reached from Gare du Nord – just be careful to get the right train/line ; less then 10 Euro return I think ; I saw trotting there – a real hoot. St Cloud obviously is available as well.
If you a real glutton , the Arc "week" may allow you Chantilly/Enghien/St Cloud and of course Longchamp
I thought the opposite was the case – with Ten Cate gone Rijkaard may consider Chelsea.
