RIP old warrior, What a shame the old man was not redeployed into a career less demanding.

Poor horse, nasty end for this and so many more racehorses involved in the big racing machine; you have to worry about what happens to all the low quality racehorses that are sold out of racing and find their way on the transporters to the meat factories of Europe . lets just hope that this horse while in racing had a groom that cared for him!

Poor boy, not good to see the horse clearly not right and getting a sharp crack of the whip just before it pulled up

Absolutely unbelievable.. just a few days since Master of the Sea broke his back leg and now this…
A really horrible break.. poor horse, he did look very uncomfortable just before the break occurred.

Poor boy he looked superb today, he was such a genuine horse so very sad to see him stricken on the bend. The connections must have been gutted.

Totally agree, Poor POF …..that horse did not like his job, from the start he was not enjoying it and looking to get out there. It’s bad enough to see these animals hurt when they enjoy their job ….. the sting in the tail is when horses are hurt when they are just not into it.

    Not surprised at all.
The lack of responsibility from some owners is the elephant in the room that exists within the racing industry.
The welfare of ex racehorses should be funded from the industry.

No racehorse should meet that fate, while front of house the champagne corks keep popping!
