another big priced selection today i got a few quid on at 20.0 and 19 .0 last nigt  , had a few loses of late but last week was great so im still well in profit , i know by backing big prices i will get some massive losing runs also the selections seem to be in really tough handicaps of late  , but its much more fun trying to get those big prices , and even more so when its profit from your bank you are playing with , for now anyway

Hi<br>Seagull<br>matron is correct in what he says , why don’t you keep the thread going until say the end of feb , that way we can see how it is doing<br>we are all guilty of just reading the topics we should reply more , i think no reply is better than a negitive one anway and by that i don’t mean constructive comments just plain negative one that can be disheartening as well<br>your threads are always one of the first i turn to on trf as well as kersly and artemis threads

the bloke that came up with the system you sure<br>because there is nothing new about any system i have seen on this or any forum , some come from the states others the uk but take it from me you don’t often see new ideas, but no problem with that<br>in the music industry music is just re- done taking rifs from your favorate band and re- jigging it<br>you never ever get a new sound  no harm there . because these rifs are ingrained in the mind just like racing you pick out the bits you like<br>nothing new we just build on systems to are own demands<br>so if any one tells you again they started a system you should know better

right i have got to change system rules a bit to catch these bigger priced winners i have had, the basic rules stay the same except for 1,2 f/c in racing post <br>any price will do now , the one extra rule i will keep to my self for now but will post every selection until end of feb lets hope it does as well as it has last week , but must admit it must be luck i have never had so many big pricd winners in a week although i have  been smashing the sp on betfair because the horses have been outsiders<br>today i backed trifti at 18.0 but because of none runner reduced to 14.60 but sp was 9/1<br>also today i backed barton sands at 9.54 it won at 5/1 sp also in same race blue mariner at 50.0 but is still running i think.<br>really happy i started this thread as it has kept me going down this road just hope it continues

can’t believe these results i have had based around ths system not just the above but i have had more over the last week and all have been miles better prices on bet fair i think  i had better change the system rules to take these bigger priced horses into account<br>lineform

LGR<br>" what i am getting at" strange thing to say<br>i am a novice and just asking questions thats all, i am greatfull to you and other people for replying to me i agree to what you say it is the same as i am saying the figures work out the same anyway, its just when it gos below – 100 % i could’nt grasp only because it did’nt show how many loses the system had<br>it might not be important to you but to me it is <br>i am not having a go as you suggest im just not accepting things at face value , asking questions trying things ,same as betting looking at things in a different way from other punters , otherwise you come up with the same findings<br>sorry to be different i just don’t follow the crowd <br>without question

snowman re-read what i am saying that is the point it is not showing how bad the systems are doing <br>my example is showing what you have just said. anyway it is interesting as a novice to see how  the forums finest will do with the systems in this comp<br>they seem to know a lot about racing so it can,t fail can it<br>interesting to see how they do if you would back every selection , i think the average punter loses about 10 %<br>and that takes in all manor of betting shop joes , they must do better than that no matter how you show your profits (or loss )<br>lineform

Hi lgr<br>i take your point i see what you mean <br>i am a novice trying to find the best ways its good to be able to ask people<br>i think the way i like to show profits for the future will be level stake profits to one point level stakes  i.e 100 bets 30 winners at average price of say 3/1 = strike rate of 30% for LSP of 120%

thanks LGR for that<br>that is how i would work things out , its just how the tables is set out that confused me as somene with 10 loses gets – 100% as does some one with 1 loser <br>maybe it should be turnover on total stakes for the  the table for interest only

Nick <br>in your totals  you have barry dennis and cormack as both – 100 %<br>barry has had 5 bets<br>cormack 10 bets<br>no winners for both so should that read<br>barry – 500 %<br>cormack – 1000%<br>im new to this and interested how punters display the profit and loss as phone tipsters seem to dress up the results to suit
