des
sorry for the late reply , i worked all night and just had look on forum
you are right with the jarvis ma selection at wolv fri seagulls list statesfor 3+ older races for this trainer if seagull checks his list at top of this thread he will see
i can see his mistake he intends to say 3yo only as the stats clearly show this 9 -21 43% sr = +106% is for 3yo only
3 + stats are 7 – 34 21 % =+ 7%
and all horses at wolv is 18 – 68 =26% sr = + 32% so could be said to be enough to use as selection alone
but i can see by those stats the intent to select 3yo only , so a mistake by seagull on list he put up , i think we will stick with 3yo only for the next two weeks and alter are list for jarvis ma
only thing is if we keep on getting it right we may lose all seagulls profit before he returns…ha
i will still be busy at work p to tuesday working late so if it looks late for selections from me put up what you find if you can , you have been right so far
regards
Lineform

Seagull
i will put them up for you for the 2 weeks , and if des could keep an eye on my selections for me and let me know if i make any mistakes that would be great
regards
Lineform
just looked on rsb pro
loder d.r
last 6 years up to 2004 end
3yo races 2-9 22% sr = – 44% lsp
3y0 + horses 9-28 32 % sr = + 36% ls lsp
that said 2004 was a losing year for 3yo + a good strike rate of 33% with a lose of – 38% ( 5-15 33%sr =-38% lsp) this at ling aw of course based over last 4 years as he had no runners in this catergorie the two years before that, i know seagull likes to take last 6 year data
regards
Lineform
Des
i had this trouble last week , as it says on the list 3yo and older horse only
but i noticed seagull never selected a loder 3yo so i checked it out on rsb pro and he does not do to well with 3yo ,
so what i have done on my print out of seagulls method is put a ‘+ ‘ next to 3yo after loders name
so i just back loders 3yo + older horses and i seem now to select same loder horses as seagull, but yes it does look as if we should be selecting 3yo as well according to instructions on list but i think is a mistake
regards
Lineform
Yes true
i think your right it hasto be 4yo +h/c .
i thought you would collect on place before not a bad run from chiali
regards
des
the good thing about a method like this is the big prices you can get about the bigger priced selections like the 50.0 you got ( i will have to join betdaq), even though it is like swimming against the tide at times , if we keep on trying to get best price i don,t think we will do to bad overall
i have noticed some of are winning selections reduce in price though so when you see 44.0 and 50.0 about a selection you do worry, saying that some have drfted like the 28/1 shot we had
regards
lineform
just had a quick look on RSB
boyle jr does quite well with all age horses anyway
last six years upto end of 2004 11 -73 15% sr for 120% lsp
also i note RSB does not have 3yo + h/c categorie , it has a 4yo + h/c categories . may be what seagull means is jr boyles h/c runners that are 4 + year old running in an open age race
and not races for 4yo + as we are thinking
regards
lineform
Des
i also agree with you , if you look a little back in thread i had the same point with same trainer (jr boyle 4yo + h/c)and race conditions this is for 3yo +
i don’ mean to pick holes for the sake of it but i want to get this right for myself as i have backed every selection so for that i think is a selection from the oringinal list on page one and i am well if profit so many thanks to seagull for this thread it has given me a new past time , i lke the trainers method as i can play about with RSB software of i have over 15 years data to look at .by the way
i back chilali @ at over 40.0 as i back all selections whatever the price, so if i have it wrong oops!
regards
lineform
maybe it was the racing post online that was wrong , as it stated the race was for 3yo +
your list states 4y0 + for jr boyle
regards
lineform
Hi Seagull
a quick question for my own mind as i try and learn this method
the selection for boyle jr today your list says 4 + H/C todays race is 3 + is this really the same thing
i glad you posted this method it has given me an interest in trainers methods now and racing is really more fun this way , it gives you a focus on one area and look forward to trying this on the coming turf season , and to learn more about the methods used by hese and other trainers
best regards
lineform
Thanks seagull
i backed the 5:00 selection , only thing is i got 24.0 on betfair the sp was 28/1 but still excellent stuff from your system ,you have got to stick with selections with a system like this even when at times your tank takes a bit of a hit, then bam ! you smash your way back ahead
your the man seagull no one comes near to you with a system on this or any other forum
regards
Lineform
p.s are you going to produce a list for for the flat season (turf) hope you do
once again Thanks
