Really thought that Dream number would be able to stay with the pace but got that wrong today and was never nearer in the end.
Bad end to the month but a much better start than i could have hoped for with the same amount of winning bets as losing ones, more of the same next month fingers crossed

    September 1 bet, 1 winner, 100% s/r +0.25
    October 14 bets, 7 winners, 50% s/r +40.53

Whats rooneys agents number  , Rothesay chancer should be kept to 6f as a truly run 5f is just too quick

Todays bet goes at wolves later in the 5.50 and is Dream number with its good draw, lenient all weather mark and recent good form over 6f that suggests to me will be tough to pass over the 5 here.

    Dream number 4pts win

Nobody would beat De sousa in a finish at the min and i would have to say i think its Gannons tactical nouse more than brute strength that is her main asset

Aye fella was a few drinks on Hatta stream

Todays first bet is pretty unoriginal but has to be Grissom in the first at Musselburgh, impeded on the bend last time which cost the race imo and should go one better today off same mark and in the 4.25 i like the chances of Rothesay chancer making the frame and finally exploiting a winnable mark

    Grissom 3 pts win
    Rothesay chancer 1pt e/w

He said lee was one of his heroes so you can understand the enthusiasm and is it not his job to interview people?, also with the child acting up i think he did a great job.

Tro nesa did it well and once again dubai hills had to settle for second but i still think a win is coming off its mark

Couple of small bets go in the final 2 races at kempton, first in the 8.45 is Fantasy gladiator who with a bit of better luck in running could have won last time and only other time at kempton won, jock flyin at present and bottom weight.
Second is in the 9.15 Hatta stream who arguably goes better on all weather and recent win reads well as does second to darcy, good draw and should go close

    Fantasy gladiator 1pt e/w
    Hatta stream 1pt e/w

I find the whole situation regarding these machines irratates me as i have seen just as many people if not more lose the lot on the horses and dogs as on the fobts. While i understand the anger that these machines have caused through suckin money out of the game i dont think they are any worse than any other form of gambling and the moral high ground taken in arguments regarding this subject are way off the mark
On another note my local bookies is generally packed with older generation on the horses and the younger generation on the machines and everyone gets on with it in harmony with the older ones the more vocal and irritating (in fact you would hardly even notice the ‘hoodies’ were in the shop), also never once have i had a problem with the noise of the machines cause you cant hear them and the only time i even realise they are there is when im with my mate and he sticks his score on the roulette

Big fan of him as well and seen him a while back on ruk where he was explaining that it was a tricky injury and that he would be out for the remainder of the season. Wish him the best of luck and look forward to seein him back in the saddle

Have to say i got Living it large completely wrong and wasnt in the same league as some of the opposition

Todays bets both go in the 2 6f races at ayr with the first being Tro nesa in the 2.25 who has looked like a race of this nature lately is well within its compass and Dubai hills in the 2.55 who is very well handicapped at present and should go very close

    Tro nesa 1pt e/w
    Dubai hills 3pt win

I hate to say i toldyaso but i miss toldyaso

Next bet goes in the 6.10 at kempton tomorrow and is Living it large, arguably saves his best for the polytrack and back down to a winnable mark and the drop to 5f a positive for me, should pop out and be hard to pass, not sure the sp will be big enough for a preferable e/w wager so win bet recommended

    Living it large 3pts win

Hazelrigg was a bit disappointing probably under the grip of the handicapper now

Todays bet goes in the 5.50 at kempton and is Miss Toldyaso , first foray into 5f was a fast finishing second and decent draw and handy 5 off are both positives, should go close

    Miss Toldyaso 4pts win

The less said about Dancing Queen the better

Todays bet goes in the 3.25 at Catterick and is Hazelrigg, has been thriving recently and showing no signs of a hard season taking its toll with a great 3rd lto of career high 88, reproduction of that effort today gives him a great chance and trainer has great record at track and great season overall

    Hazelrigg 3pts win

It was said in many quarters during and after the Casela Park case "what would have been the decision and subsequent action if it was a bigger fish that needed fried"
I think that question has been answered

Gutted Ivory Silk got collered late on but decent enough profit from the place with a generous enough sp

Todays bet goes in the 3.35 at Lingfield and is Dancing Queen, after blowing away the cobwebs at epsom was collered late on at kempton by subsiquent winner Tevez in an good quick time. Has looked a tricky customer so not a full bank job but impressive enough last time to warrant a bet

    Dancing Queen 3pts win

Nice solid victory for the previous selection although with 7/1 freely available all day the 5/1 s/p was a bit annoying.

Next selection goes in the 3.35 at Windsor tomorrow, Ivory Silk is the pick and although not getting a blow in 3 races since a break has been burdened with a mark in the mid 80’s on the all weather and imo hasnt been disgraced in the 2 6f races which is tomorrows distance, counting the capable apprentice on board tomorrow it will be running of 63 in a very winnable contest. Another solid e/w oppertunity

    Ivory Silk 2pts e/w

Hood removed late and always behind for previous bet so no run for money which was dissapointing to say the least

Todays bet goes in the 8.40 at Wolves and is Angelo Poliziano, a cd winner last year off a 2 pound lower mark and on last winning mark was badly impeded lto but showed good heart to rally. De Sousa back in the saddle who is 2/5 on board, a solid e/w oppertunity

    Angelo Poliziano 2pts e/w
