at the end of the day he won his race, he’s been off the track for 217 days you’ve got to give him the credit for that, your only as good as your last run.<br>the feedback seems to be quite negative.

i know, dad had to give barry a call wed morning and he said he couldnt comit himself fully so tony now riding him for the rest of the season, it won’t be same watching ted run with barry on him he’s a great friend of the family, i suppose i will have to give tony a chance we’ll see how things go tomorrow

yes but as jonjo and ruby walsh both said to me ted would of beaten ad hoc by 10 lengths if he had rode the horse properly
ap doesn’t suit every horse
ap probably won’t get the job because some people like there horses being looked after around a track not having the s*** kicked out of them

yes ap is mcCoy that’s only my opinion no one should get offended by what i said about him as i said people are entitled to their opinions.<br>
ok i guess thats why it’s a popular forum, <br>in racing people have to repect other peoples veiw on racing for example i cant stand ap i think he’s completely big headed etc (i could go on forever moaning about him) but i have realised from being about 10 going racing with my family that there are alot of people that hate ap but on the other hand there are so many people who love the guy, i am not trying to say he’s not talanted because that would make me insaine but that’s just my veiw on things.<br>xx
thaks for all your support even thogh he has been off for nearly twelve months, we are not sure as of yet who is going to ride ted but barry g has said he would like to still ride him this season beause anything could happen to ted or kicking king. <br>the reason IG didnt win the race before the stayers is that he only had 2 weeks to prepare for the stayers and barry wanted to just look after him instead of tiering him out 2 weeks before the stayers <br> <br>(ted) being Iris’s Gift

of course jonjo is going to still train at jackdaws! i doubt it will change in the next few years because 60% or more of the horses that jonjo trains are jp’s and ap isn’t stable jockey he’s just retained by jp that’s why most probably he won’t be riding iris’s gift (ted) x
he will go in low key races to start off with and then he might go on to run in the gold cup depending on how he performs in his low grade races <br> who knows anything could happen x
