I mainly agree with Fist’s views. A terrible day for racing in general but finger pointing isn’t the way forward. It was an unprecedented occurrance and therefore to it’s all too easy to play the blame game ie ; Why was this done, why wasn’t this done etc etc….
The key thing going forward is that such a tragedy is avoided, checks implemented or whatever is needed to ensure safety for horses and humans alike. Hate to see horses injured/killed but accidents happen.
Less finger pointing, more support for a great sport please all!!
