Well thanks all i had a very enjoyable day in glorious sunshine – it was like summer !<br>The aforementioned shuttle bus left just outside Newton station and took only about 10 mins to the track – more importantly it was efficietly waitig to take us back afterwards. I did ideed hear rumours from travellers sayig it was beig stopped after today but when the drivers were asked they seemed unable to help.

I went in members as suggested and was probably the right choice though £27 seems a bit pricy considering its always only £20 at many good Cheltenham meetings throughout the year

THANKS AGAIN ALL. This proves once again how helpful useful and friendly this forum is for this type of request. Forgive my ignorance Pegwell but whats heathen central mean ?  Crowded presumably or chaotic….? I guess a Sat crowd at Haydock with Liverpool & Everton out of cup could be chocker !

The fact that Thommo & Catt aren’t include says it all. Its all been said on here plenty before anyway. My personal fave is Simon Holt who has improved recently since his initial introcution to C4 when he tended to go over the top in finishes. Whether he’s at a top meeting on a Saturday or a quiet little Fontwell/Plumpton meeting i think he’s excellent. I met him recently at Ludlow and spoke breifly and he seemed a genuine decent bloke too with no heirs or graces whatsoever.

This has turned into the John Wade thread – so as i started on Redcar perhaps i should join in the Wade matter and point you towards his two runners in same race at Kelson on Sunday

I think Recent Edition looks to have a great chance dropped 6 pounds since last run in December – you heard it here first….

Talk about the highs and lows of the game – half an hour later RACING DEMON wins the novice.

I have just heard about Matey – unbelievable. A sad day for all connections as well as all horse racing lovers.
