Not a great start. Sometimes you have to make it up a bit but you probably know where I am coming from for the bottom 2 horses

Ruled out for season by Scott before Xmas due to a tendon injury. Was to go for the Supreme at Cheltenham. Injury also ruled him out of 2013 Cheltenham where he was ante-post fav.
April 7, 2014 at 09:41 in reply to: AND THE WINNER IS..Saturday 5th April ‘What 3 Horses’ RESULT #474884Well done Bob. But beware Homer is to make a challenge for your crown this season
. The hardest thing is to remember to make my post each Saturday
Not entirely convinced of the scoring system as I’m sure I had a winner and still ended up with ‘nul points’, but I won’t make a fuss
I am definitely thinking about changing tack and backing confirmed stayers rather than reliable jumpers in future, which I thought I’d done this year (although 3 of the 4 fell
). I took the 16/1 Ladbrokes offered on T43 as I thought he would be thereabouts at the finish and would at least get a run for my money. I didn’t totally discount PDR but the jumping aspect did put me off in the end. What about D7
He must be a future National chance at only 8 years old. And possibly keep AP in the saddle 3 or 4 more years if the horse retains health and ability.Yes well done to connections and those who backed Pineau De Re. A horse which may not have stood up with the old National fences, but an ice cool ride from Leighton Aspell. Not surprised the NHS is in such a state if this is what GPs are up to nowadays

Balthazar King saved some of my bacon, as had Burton Port and Big Shu who both went early and then the totally reliable (unless I back it) T43

Would have even been more gutted for TB if I had backed it as it would have been my fault. But at least the nerves went when he unseated ST-D.
Great to see all horses and jocks OK, except the winner nearly been drowned at the end. I know they throw water on them to cool them down, but a swimming pool
Mind you horse didn’t seem to mind.ALL AT AINTREE

5.45 Aqalim (Fly Home Harry)Having been to Aintree on Thursday my worry is that the meeting is getting too popular with just too many people most of which know nothing about racing and only there to booze. Am I being a miserable sod in just wanting to watch the horses??
Simon Holt mentioned this in the last C4 race, stating when the horses set off, the decibels seemed to be increasing and wondered why that was
Looks like not only you turning into a miserable old sod
I really do want Tidal Bay to win this, therefore I am pulling out of tomorrow’s bet. The way things are going, I Know it sounds daft, but I will believe it’s my fault if I back the horse and he doesn’t win

After much studying
