WINNER*********BOB ROLF**********WINNER
WELL DONE TO
BOB ROLF
FOR PULLING OFF BACK TO BACK WINS
IN THIS COMPETITION FROM HIS ONLY RIVAL IN THIS WEEKS
COMPY JONNOVA2003.Both Bob and Jonnova had winners on this very lean Saturday, Jonnova a 9/2 shot but BOB came blazing in with 10/1 winner BOW CREEK at Lingfield which was also his NAP.
Very well done BOB, Des’s Bookie was right to make you favourite (even though most of the customers in Des’s local Bookies thought you were a horse
). If you were a horse Bob you would win the Grand National I just know it
.Well done to Jonnova2003 in 2nd place, Columbus 3rd and special mention to Jason in 4th who just won Nathans Aintree Compy today. Just shows what brilliant tipsters we have on TRF

Des will be back next week when all our scores go back to Zero and we kick off the Flat Compy which will run through to Champions Day at Royal Ascot Saturday 18th October.
Bob I wish we had a special prize to give you but this compy only has Virtual Champagne and Choccys to offer which we hope you will enjoy in the knowledge that you won’t put on a pound in weight
Perhaps Des will have a word in his bookies ear to see if we could get something up and running as a Prize for future compys seeing as he’s running a book on who will win.
What do you think Des?Many thanks to Nathan for offering up the Prize in the Starmix Compy which wasn’t won this time, hopefully he will agree that we can continue to offer the fantastic Kauto/Denman book for the Flat Compy.
*********************************************************
WELL DONE BOB ROLF CROWNED DOUBLE CHAMPION OF DES’S TRF
SATURDAY TIPSTER COMPY FOR THE JUMPS SEASON.
***********************************************************Thanks to all who have taken part and please use this post to sent BOB your congrats on his magnificent victory…
*********************************************************
You now get to keep the Crown Bob, so Des will have to pop
down to his local Burger King to pick up another one.

April 6, 2014 at 04:31 #474746great stuff bob and thanx to all involved;
will have another try nxt wk !!April 6, 2014 at 10:04 #474764welldone bob
since 2003 we have had winners that have won the comp twice but never back to back comps which has to be flat and jumps
so an amazing acheivment which proves you really are the top tipster and the thought that you could potentially go for the treble is scary
for somebody to match your record now means they must now win this seasons flat comp then the following jumps season too and that is a very big ask
i wont no if anybody did really have a bet on you bob till i see my bookie but add to this thread if they did
Triptych this comp only exsists because your here every other week and wouldnt be able to survive without you so if anyone deserves to be thanked then is you – thanks for all your hard work and also nathan for his kind offer too
lets hope for a great flat season and set are target to 129+ points before october great stuff – see you all next week
April 6, 2014 at 11:10 #474777I’m happy to keep the same prize offer to roll over to the next comp.

April 7, 2014 at 00:15 #474872Well done Bob,great tipping.Nice winner to sprint away inside final furlong.
Cheers Jac and Des for all the work you put in.Looking forward to the flat competition starting.
Its been a good jump competition this year, hope the flat is just as good.
April 7, 2014 at 09:41 #474884Well done Bob. But beware Homer is to make a challenge for your crown this season
. The hardest thing is to remember to make my post each Saturday
Not entirely convinced of the scoring system as I’m sure I had a winner and still ended up with ‘nul points’, but I won’t make a fuss

Apologies Homer
Just checked back and you had a 7/2 winner
on Saturday 22nd March
Roalco Des Farges
3.30 Newbury and the scoreboard has been amended.
You need to shout at us a bit louder as soon as you notice
the mistake, we’re only human and this one slipped the net.
Sorry and glad that you pointed it out.Look forward to seeing you each week (memory permitting
)for the Flat season and Bob will no doubt be watching his back as you make a play for his coveted Crown

Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...April 7, 2014 at 11:33 #474902I’m happy to keep the same prize offer to roll over to the next comp.
Thank you Nathan that’s a great boost to our little Compy.

Just a reminder about the Starmix Challenge for those new to the Competition:
STARMIX CHALLENGE
*****************The first person to pick 3 winners with an SP of 2/1 or over from
Saturday 12th April up to and including
Champions Day at Ascot on Saturday 18th October
will win a fantastic prize generously donated by Nathan Hughes a book all about Kauto Star and Denman…thank you Nathan.
For all others with 3 winners after this Nathan is offering a packet of Mini Starmix again up to Champions Day.
If Nathan happens to be the first to choose 3 winners himself then a mystery prize will be on it’s way to him (that’s because we don’t know what it is yet
)…
so come on let’s see who’s first to get those 3 winners of 2/1 and above and good luck
As this competition has always been a Virtual Prize compy as yet we have no actual prize for the winner just our mutual respect and congratulations.
The Starmix Challenge gives all of us a chance to win at any time throughout the competition.
This is the fantastic prize kindly offered by Nathan Hughes, for being the first to pick all 3 winners with SP of 2/1 or over.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Kauto-Star-Denm … and+denmanNOTE TO DES…
you can copy and paste this to the new Comp Post, if you like Des as it has the amended start/finish dates. Might save a minute or two on Saturday.
