by the way 4 what it is worth ,
OBE GOLD ""in form c/d good price won off higher hc rating and is ready to strike
SECRET WITNESS 3yo by pinital ,is enough to go on in this race a seller.
i point eachHi Gerald,I think you could be spot on with your assumptions ,as he is entered up in another seller at wolver??on the 4/1/10 ,But i will not be backing him as he is 2 short a price and may even go off fav. for a couple of reasons ,which i feel are mega.
"1" racing of his highest ever rating 84
"2" he has h/ced himself joint top with several others who have good resent form recently, making this in theory a tight little h/c .
"3" and because either he has the improvement the trainer thinks to go to war at the real beginning of the a/w season,is a little suss of him to strike first time out here,i really think he is working for the bookies, and he will be telling them when he is REALLY "on" which could be later, the hc er normally drops him if a bad race on first run of a/w run season, they dropped him 5Lbs in 08 for comming 2nd then he won next time, and 09 they dropped him 3Lbs for coming 2nd after a break at epsom /turf change code ??? .so he would be a fool to miss the chance of relieving the grip he is beginning to have a hold on him,its a long long winter."4" Oh and just a little problem ,he has won all his races wearing CHEEK PIECES
THEY ARE OFF
"5" If i was going to dabble i would suggest a smallish LAY
but is what ive said just conjecture.we will c, ive been wrong before, but im still gambling with the bookies money.regardsMerry Xmas Malkyboy,I have been full of Christmas cheer so not been compus/mentus so to speak.could you explain the meaning behind "" small field ?? /ground against this one.reference
liecester 1.55 Hard and Fast
why would he not like a small field?
Hi Malkyboy, Yes you are spot on with your assumption of who i met in the Brighton car park.but as i said it was a long time ago,and he had only been training a short time.good day 4 u yesterday, good luck today at Kempton.regards
Hi Malkyboy, well done today, nightmare 4 me,lost my isp around the time just after my reply here, literary only just got back on drat.missed a good days laying.onwards and upwards as they say.there will always b another day’s racing.your in-depth research on the lays tomorrow make seance,i wonder what the trainers are thinking about, makes you think doesn’t it, I was talking to a young up and coming trainer we all know who used to play for England football team about twenty years ago,I met him in the Brighton racecourse car park, and he said, not football is a funny old game but, racing is also a funny old game to,he also discovered that in racing ""you have to lose to win"" ,ive never forgotten those wise words of wisdom, have you guessed who I am talking about, lol.regards
Hi again Malkyboy,u said that if the cap of 2/1 was used u would be +20 where did this thread start then.??as you do not have enough selections here.regards
Hi Malkeyboy.well done yesterday.yes i must agree with you on tht dunnet runner,no way should that be fav,but as ive told you my luck is reverse what ever i say,so you should be ok ,but my first lay today was billie jean, and guess what it won at 8/1 in the 12.30 southwell ,i had a minimal token fiver on.
good luck with yours today.regardshi malkeyboy,iv had weekends just like you had,i bet you thought on Sunday morning ,maybe I will give it a miss this morning, but you thought it can not happen again.but it does, bet you thought great if i was trading, backed them first, layed them 1.01 in play.ive been in racing some 48 years, and thought when the exchanges came alone eureka, set me self up as a bookie with no overheads, lol, this laying lark is easy, but no matter what you do has its trends, sticking to the same thing religiously finally breaks down when there time of the year comes around, its rather strange but works for me,perhaps its all the knowledge i have in my head like a computer , what I do now is,when I study form to find winners i lay them, and do the opposite when trying to find lays,ie I back them, all level stakes, even works right up to 10/1.sorry to woffle on.but keep up the fight.im sure it will even its self out, having said that this time of the year trainers and owners like to get there Christmas bonuses,so watch 4 the steamers and particularly the drifters, regards bill
hi Matron i will second that,i understood that the thread was called first/fav and would not have layed that one anyway.tell me as i did not check as i was away from the computer on saturday, was this a r/post tissue fav in the morning of the race.also do you or anyone else have kept a record on a spreadsheet of all the results.for my easy purusal .regards
ps that one at plumpton is a bold choice today ,fingers crossed for you matron

thanks mr forecast.why don’t you carry on the thread with your ratings.I’m sure it will be just as interesting.
hi mr forecast,is there anyway you could give me his web address ??
isn’t it typical, been reading this thread almost from the beginning over the last couple of weeks getting to grips with it Matron because ive had a hell of a time over registration ,but now im sorted,so its a shame you have given up on this thread and called it a day,but i understand why,you say lack of feedback or words to that effect,i hope you may reconsider, tell me what do you suggest as feedback,as sometimes we need a nudge, regards bill
Hi Matron, ive just joined, and after a week or so sifting through various good and interestingly threads must recommend your staying power generally, and particular this one,one question i would like to ask is why doesn’t it provide more regular selections.just a thought.bill
