JLT – Apache Stronghold 16/1 ew
Gold Cup – Many Clouds 12/1 ewHuge fan of Many Clouds as well. Horse owes me nothing, backed him in all 3 wins this year but it wasn’t until yesterday that I really believed he was a potential Gold Cup Winner. I think I was a bit put off after the Hennessy with the trainer saying something along the lines of "I don’t care what he does the rest of the season". I was really impressed by his performance and looks to be improving. Got 12/1 immediately after the race with Paddy. 2nd season chaser, Hennessy Winner, now won at the track, jumps well, stays well, what’s not to love?

Gold Cup –
Holywell 1pt win @ 16/1 (Ladbrokes)
Road to Riches 1pt win @ 8/1 (general)Thanks VTC, very kind of you. Think Faugheen in the Neptune was my only winner in this competition last year, not great value but think he does the job this year again.
Faugheen – 2pts win @ 5/4 (general)
Clondaw Court non runner today (lame). Patrick did say he is a very hard horse to keep sound.
As expected, John F Kennedy came on a good bit from his first run in winning in good style at the Curragh. A lot of rumours circulating that he is Ballydoyle’s Derby horse next year and although I think it’s early to be getting involved ante-post, today’s performance is encouraging.
O’Brien’s words after the race "He’s still very babyish. Mentally he’s still a bit immature, although physically he’s mature. The penny never dropped the first day at Leopardstown. He’s a very smart colt, and we’ll probably take our time with him."
