the bumper is quite difficult to work out,but i take a chance with the henderson horse, riverside theatre, which won well last time out, responding quite well though being a bit novicey.he can only improve.but as i said, many with some good credentials here,so stakes best kept small..
i think, that the real deal has a good chance now.firstly because nick williams does well in these amateur races, and secondly because i am a fan of polly gundry for yeras, and she really deserves to get back on the scoresheet.good luck,
andy
You would have to go a long way to see a horse jump fences as well as he did today he was magnificent, looked to be thoroughtly enjoying himself and couldn’t really be faulted. Just how good he is remains to be seen especially as he’s a fragile horse but it was marvellous watching him today.
absolutely.and he is in the right hands, thats for sure.
ok,what can you say?i think, that was a solid first effort, and he may have needed the run a bit.but nonetheless,at least he is fit and ready for the big one now.i will stick with him, thats for sure.
andy

hi rob!yes, quite possible so.but i thought, judged on his last race,it could be worth it.but in general, you are right.

hi guys,
before i start i am new to this racing forum but have been involved with horseracing for 15 years. i occasionally get some live info from owners as a few of my friends have horses in training.
the first 1 i am going to list on this site is a horse called cheating chance which runs in the 2.30 at ascot.
this horse was bought private for a wopping 250,000. it started its career with N G Richards and was pulled up with 2 dissapointing runs in novice hurdles, it was later discovered the horse had a breathing problem which was operated on when it joined andrew turnell. his first run back on the track was in a cl4 chase where he made mistakes with his jumping but finnished 5/16. next time he ran he run in another class 4 chase where again mistakes cost him when he joined the winner at the 10th he stumbled and fell. next time out he finnished 2nd to a Paul Nicholls hot pot.next the owner and trainer decided to put him back over hurdles as they knew the breathing op had worked april 08 novice hurdle he won easilly then was given time to mature. last time out 25th oct 08 back to chasing he won with something in hand to land a cl3 hc chase.
i know this is a harder race tomorrow but this horse is unexposed and is a real eye catcher on the way it returned to chasing and knowing it has matured really well over the past 12 months. 1 down fall to this is the jockey mark grant i really cant understand why the owner martin tedham persists in booking this jockey he is a liability and has only won on stearing jobs.with the turnell stable in such good form i think this horse has what it takes to land this. get on and enjoy. keep watching this space i get tons of info..

first of all,hi kj and well done with this one!i am also quite new here, but also a big fan for a long time.the only thing i cant understand is your harsh criticism of mark grant.of course, everyones got the right of a free opinion, but i honestly cant see any real reasons for that.this young guy has brains and balls all the same, and i think,he has a very good future! good luck today,
andy

you only need to scroll down further, where "dayly lays and plays" is written.
hello, racing insider!may i give you the advice to post your thoughts in the lays and plays section?i tried the same here, but i think, the guys are right in saying, from a fairness point of view, our selections should be kept in the lay and play section.i hope,i didnt bother you.maybe,we can share our thoughts together in the future, would be great!!have a nice day,
andy

the second at haydock looks very open, and difficult to pick one out,but i take a chance on copsale lad,who ran a good race last time out, coming back at them at the end,and maybe theres a litte form revival in sight for him.he might be worth a wager at small stakes eachway.good luck,
andy

Kicking King has been a top class horse winning the 2005 Gold Cup and two King Georges. He’s never recovered from the injury he sustained and it’s good to see connections making the right decision to retire him from racing.
yes, absolutely!there were so many moments to savour.a horse like this is one in a million.goodbye kicky, and thank you for all.
andy
Yeah – if you’re making money people will flock to your thread and if you’re losing you’ll be glad it’s hidden away in the Lays & Plays section!
yes,david,thats some argument!!
i will do my best,but you all know,theres never a guarantee.see you,andy
The other thing Andy is not to be discouraged if you don’t get a lot of views to begin with, if your threads in Lays and Plays are any good plenty will read them (Carvills selections thread has now had over 27,000 viewings, over 100 views per post)
ok,that sounds good.its like with many good horses, you just need a lot of patience, right?
!btw, many thanks guys, for being so friendly and welcoming to me,i really enjoy it here.have a good day, andy
alright cormack,no problem.
cheers
andyhi rob!sorry for that,i just need to get used to british grammatica,i suppose..i hope to do better in the future..
i concentrated mainly on the handicaps on both jumps cards, and although there is nothing really outstanding,i spotted two lightly raced horses, who are open to improvement:
the first is militant man for simon sherwood at warwick.although he had not many starters in the past weeks, and therefore stable form is an unknown quantity, militant man ran a nice race at newbury in the spring, which was franked by some of his opponents.so if fit enough to do himself justice,he could run a nice race, especially as simon often does well at the course.if there is any support for him,he would be even more interesting.
the other with a similar profile is badger for the small pogson stable in the staying chase.although its not a high profile race,he ran pretty well last time when second to syncopated rhytm, who is quite useful.i think, with not too much solid form for to go on,he should run a good race.apart from those, rivington pike at hexham must have a big chance in the first if handling the conditions.john quinns novices/handicappers are always to be feared, and with the capable dougie costello on board,a good race should be on the cards.ok fellas,i will be back in the evening with my resumee.good luck,
andy

to make it short,it was not so good today, but we all live to fight another day,so tomorrow will surely be better..
what is to say about my fancied horses?..well,maybe,it was the conditions or something else, but neither ran even close to their form,so they can only improve next time.i ll be back tomorrow, have a nice evening, folks
andy
at fakenham, there runs a horse, that i mentioned in an earlier post, and that is quartz du monceau.hid did not too bad last time at fontwell, and i think,he has a good chance to get off the mark for milton harris.good luck,
andy
