Horses from small yards are harder to rate.Nothing to gallop against.Difficult to get a jockey for gallops. may not have proper gallops. may not get 24 hours attention, harder to get staff( not much winning money coming into the yard) attention and more, so it is harder to rate them.

It seems fair to admit that O’Brien is the top trainer in Ireland,Fabre in France and Stoutie in England, right? All 3 are the "top trainer" in their own country

O’Brien is always out front when his horses are injured. The operation is too big for anything else.By the same token we were never told exactly why Sir Percy was kept in his box after the Guineas. Only that he was not himself and the race took a lot out of him, fancy that!

Arazi,It looks like the owners of Sir Percy committed the cardinal sin in horse racing. They left the money on the table and walked away. You never lose the sense of ownership even when you sell a horse. Ask Tom Costello.
On another subject the smartest man this week is the man who decided to take his horse to the french derby instead of Epsom. If he is not good enough to win in france he is certainly not good enough to win at Epsom.
If Franki wins will he go freelance this year?

Looks like Coolmore have the three best jockeys for the derby course riding against the inexperienced frenchman. Good luck to him!
