All Presidents approval ratings fall after they are in office for a while. The stimulus isn’t working because it isn’t enough and it won’t fix a problem that goes much, much deeper. I for one was glad for it because it helped me pay my bills when I truly needed it. I lost my job in 2008 and have jumped from temp job to temp job and find myself again on unemployment. It’s frustrating. I have no health insurance and having three serious bouts of bronchitis I can say that I’m not only broke but downhearted. It’s not something that one man can fix in a year but at least I feel more confident that with him than I did with Bush. It got to the point where if I heard him speak one more time I was going to put a bullet in my head. I have to say that the government incentive to help out auto sales (an industry my Sister works in) did help a lot of Americans and while it was a band aid attempt, it was successful. The job market is sloooooowly starting to come back to life but it’s going to be a long road for it. At least he’s trying and not on some revenge plot for his Daddy which is more than I can say for the last bozo we had in there. Yes, I said bozo. He was as phony as a $3 bill.

Hello. My name is Alli and I am from Maryland. I don’t know if I did this on the forum before but I recently dug out my dinosaur of a computer when my HP laptop’s motherboard decided to die and not notify me first. Once I got this thing running (it took about 2 days to actually turn on) I am now seeing all the stuff that I did not transfer over. This forum was one of those things and thanks to an email I came back to see what was going on. ;D I’m an avid racing fan. Part time racing photographer and equine artist and try to keep as informed as possible. As you may notice from my avatar I do love my racing with obstacles involved and I’m lucky enough to live in the Mid-Atlantic region of my country where hurdling, timber racing and fox hunting is very, very popular. We get a lot of your second stringers here in the states and it gives some of our not so great flat racers a new career. For the most part they are treated much more like family than the flat racers and train on farms rather than being stuck at a track for most of their career. Anyway, hello from Maryland! :D

It’s a shame he’s retiring. God help you if your a talented 3yo or in his case super talented 3yo that hasn’t been gelded. That’s a one way ticket to the shed at the end of the year. Then he enters a whole other race once he arrives there. I know he won’t have this problem but I’ve seen it several times here in the US where a horse goes to the shed, hasn’t even had his first foals hit the ground only to be sold to stand somewhere else. In our case it’s usually overseas somewhere. Granted the horses are not of STS caliber but dang that’s frustrating. We have One Great Cat in Pennsylvania who is to be sold as a stallion prospect this winter. They expect to get around $50,000 for him. When he retired last year he was light and not filled out but when we went to photograph him for the sale he was gorgeous! All dappled out and amazingly well proportioned. STS won’t have any problem getting mares and while I wait patiently for the Zarkava foal, I have to say that little one has really big shoes to fill. Regardless it will be born with a huge fan base.
