I’ve posted a link below that was filmed on March 15th. Life Is Sweet trying to get some sleep…again. Such a shame that she’s been forced to miss the Dubai World Cup – she would have given the colts something to think about. May she enjoy a happy retirement.

Love the part with Zenyatta under the tree (3:25). She’s so aware of everything going on around her.

Well done to her trainer, John Shirrefs. If only our trainers would follow his example. He clearly loves his horses.

Gorgeous, gorgeous mare, when you see her up close like that you realize just how big she is. Videos like that really help fans get to know the stars of the sport. With human athletes, you see them interviewed, see their houses, their wives, their fancy cars, etc. Racehorses are a lot more distant, you can’t exactly identify with them. It’s nice to know that Zenyatta is just as big of a ham in the barn as she is on the track.
