George Washington’s horrible and untimely demise in the Monmouth mud.

He was a horse that sparked my interest properly in racing, thought it was incredible how a horse can cruise and then go, Guineas win was the most impressive in a long time, as was the QE2, just unfortunate how the demise came.

Shamardal’s career cut short through injury. He was one of the most outstanding horses I’ve seen in the short time he was racing.
