February 9, 2017 at 21:48 #1286621Even money to run in JLT is too good to be true Nath.Yorkhill has been trained with jumping fences in mind at a Chasers pace,he actually looks like he wants 3m to me and it would have been great to see him in the RSA with a Gold cup campaign in mind for next year.If by some miracle Mullins decides to let him run in the champion hurdle he will find out that his star Chestnut will be outpaced from the off,he’s never gone a Champion hurdle pace in his life and to start now would be stupid…Of course we’re talking Willie Mullins here and stupid is a word I often associate with him and his decisions.

Im assuming you were in the yard when they more than likely worked him alongside champion hurdlers……. your literally saying someone whos won 4 in the last 6 CH, had a 1-2-3 in it, dosent know a chMpion hurdle horse when he sees one

They haven’t got any Champion Hurdlers left for him to work alongside against, that’s why he is in consideration for the race.
