Once again extremely barbaric scenes with this poor horse having broken its neck and back and probably much more.
The horse that came over from Italy with zero pedigree for jumping a single hurdle ran over those unforgiving easyfix hurdles in Ireland.
Once again very ugly and sad to watch and unfortunately another fatal accident involving these hurdles. Some people bother a lot about the National and Cheltenham, but at those venues changes have been made.
No changes however made on the lower end of the scale. That*s why animals still have to suffer and the sport will as well. It surely isn`t nice to see a horse dying in front of the stands on a fun Sunday.
I hope that no idiot will try to defend this incident.

RIP poor Xifiltosa – even worse that your pedigree has nothing to do with NH racing.

so sad, and very stupid, for that beautiful horse to be racing in a effort that hes not bred to race in. and it was a very upsetting fall as soon as i saw his legs stiffen and kick out i knew it was all over for the beautiful horse. rip Xifiltosa something needs to be done about these hurdles they are no way near safe, and your right forget the big nationals etc need to focus on everyday racing,
