Which do you prefer.
I have to admit, that a few years ago it was a bit of a no brainer as I loved the X Factor, but now, the X Factor is becoming a bit of a drag and the women are looking hotter and hotter on SCD. I mean, Kelly Brook in a mini skirt with her tits hanging out, or Simon Cowell with his trousers upto his neck – I know what I prefer

Oh, and the dancing is not too bad either

Than watch girls like Kelly Brook dance……… oh Jim, what is wrong with you
October 13, 2007 at 00:46 #119288Apologies Mikky it’s just that there is so much crap on TV these days that I get a bit miffed at having to pay £135.50 for a license to have crap like you just mentioned on our screens, it’s not worth it.
I wish they’d abolish the TV license so I can get back to using my TV as a light without having to pay for the privelage.

I’m not much of a TV watcher.
October 13, 2007 at 08:30 #119292X-facto for me .. strictly come dancing is rubbish.

Lol Jim,
I know exactly where you are coming from mate. 90% of my tv viewing is live sport. The other 10% is shared between programmes like Eggheads, Dragons Den and any crime busting programme that Donal Macintyre is in

October 13, 2007 at 11:38 #119313Just to take you slightly off topic here Mikky, as I have a complaint about this and my opinion on the subject is likely turn into a rant
…lol.I don’t watch Strictly Come Dancing. I turned it on at the beginning to find…lo and behold… old Bruce Forsyth [sexy he is not!], alongside a young, glamorous, heavily made up blonde young enough to be his granddaughter.
Ok, this may be fine for male heterosexual viewers, but what about us ladies? where is our ‘eye candy’ so to speak? if it’s good enough for men to have crumpet on the t.v. to attract their attention then it’s good enough for us, yet it seems the main male presenter must be famous, have charm and charisma but be plug ugly, the woman must be unknown, young and beautiful, yet epitomise the dumb blonde ‘babe’ image. Why is this please?I see it everywhere on British t.v., on the news, almost anywhere where there’s a double act [Ant and Dec excluded]. Anything Des O’Connor is on for instance, will always have the nice cute young woman with him, while we get zilch! How would you like it if their co-presenter was say, Miriam Margolyes, or Clarissa Dickson Wright?
I see most of the dancers look good enough, but it’s the presentation that bugs me.
I’m peed off with it. I’ve seen enough of Dermot O’Leary and Ben Shepherd but surely
there’s someone else about?
October 13, 2007 at 11:48 #119315Totally agree Ugly Mare.
It must be a bit of a downer for you women to have to look at the likes of Des Lynan, Jimmy Tarbuck, Des O’Connor, Bruce Forsyth etc, while we get the fit birds to look at

I’ve tried damned hard to get on tv, and that would have helped ease your anger, but so far, I have had no success

October 13, 2007 at 11:55 #119319I just find Strictly Come Dancing so camp. I can’t take it seriously with all the face pulling, spangly costumes and posing.
Like UG, I might be tempted to watch if there was suitable eye candy
. On the other hand, maybe not. No eye candy of mine would be permitted to wear those outfits
.X Factor is losing its appeal for me, as stated on another thread
. There’s only so much Simon, Sharon, Lou Lou and Cheekbones I can take, never mind the over sensitive contestants.Never mind, it’ll soon be time for "I’m A Celebrity, get me out of here"
.October 13, 2007 at 14:58 #119330yes I’m getting tired of these forever tearful contestants, it’s obviously the done thing now, I think they’ve got it all from BB where shedding a tear or two often keeps you in the game.
I’m not a ‘Jungle’ fan as there isn’t enough live footage so you can’t keep up with what’s going on. Also I disapprove of how they use live insects/grubs for fun by showing contestants eating them or somesuch…urgh! that’s not right, I can’t have that. Saying that, I do dip in and out of it, depends who’s on.
Mikky,
looks like we missed out
you could always audition for Big Brother, you might be the male version of Charley Uchea waiting in the wings….be a blast
October 13, 2007 at 19:54 #119359Saying that, I do dip in and out of it, depends who’s on
I have the horn.
This is not a drill!!

Have I taken this too far??
October 13, 2007 at 20:48 #119363lol…only you would know that
