I’ve come across this abbreviation several times in Irish Point form: e.g.
Ww rr, prog to 4th 5out, hdway to disp 3out, 2nd 2out, renewed effort to ld at last, drew clr on flat, won at Tinahely 3m
No idea what "Ww rr" might mean, and it seems only used with these Irish Points … can anyone help?!

December 5, 2009 at 11:47 #262225yeah i think it is waited with, and ridden with restraint
December 5, 2009 at 11:54 #262228I suspect it means ‘waited with (in) rear’.
December 5, 2009 at 12:38 #262241I would agree with that, I’m sure someone told me the same not long ago.
