A great final frame from McGill considering the pressure he must of been under.
Maguire made a decent fist of it.

Ding was greatful for the break at 0-4 down, if they had carried on he might of been out but composed himself well after and knuckled down. Williams was woeful, just Trump left for me…….

Great to see the Ninja knock out Selby, could you imagine the roar off Selby had he comeback to win that one.

Shaun Murphy just needs the hat, cane, shades and cigar.
That suit he’s got on has pimp written all over it.

Looks like Robertson is back on track after losing six on the trot 596 points to 7.

    Get in the Bing….. :good:
Just as long as he don’t beat the Trump.
I got the impression Ronnie wasn’t totally focussed in this years tournament. Last year he was poor by his standards but the year before he was focused and in the zone. This year he was making faces every shot, taking his shoes off and putting his chalk on the table. He also said he was lacking the motivation to win it again which I found strange as Hendry’s 7 is/was within sight.

This was the bad old Ronnie during this tournament and towards the end he virtually gave up, he had absolutely no fight in him. All credit to Bingham but maybe the performances of Trump have got to O’Sullivan and he doesn’t like what the future holds.

Murphy still going well for me but Hawkins is going to be hard to beat after the way he played today. Overall, I think Trump is the most likely winner now and he could walk away with it if he gets an early lead.

Looks like the Robertson match has took its toll on Hawkins. History shows you can’t have too many matches like that and go on to win the tournament.

Don’t mind who wins this now. It would be nice to have a new winner but it’s 10 years since Murphy won it so rather fitting if he lifted the trophy. Will the longer more tense semi affect Bingham as it seem to Hawkins after his quarter

I would like to see Bingham win, I’ve said on a number of times that he is underrated and doesn’t always get the credit he deserves. I think Davis made a good point in that Bingham has played a lot more Snooker then anyone over the last few years in travelling to all the events around China and Down Under etc. The occasion may get to him but he hasn’t looked fazed yet and the adrenalin of being in the final should keep him going today. He has to stay with Murphy mind as against O’Sullivan and Trump he was never behind for more than a frame or so, so if Murphy can build a lead then Bing might start to feel the pinch. I’m not overly keen on Murphy, he’s a great player but one I’ve never really taken too although I wouldn’t mind if he won as like you say Homer it’s been 10 years so that would be good and Pat123 is on at 10’s so that would be a nice touch as-well.

I’ve had a few quid on Bingham to win 18-17. Just hope Murphy doesn’t get to the 17 too soon.

A good half hour here for Bing.
Whatever happens in the last two frames tonight he’ll go in to tomorrow’s finale believing he can do it. Murphy’s long shots have slightly gone astray.
