None of the last 10 winners were debutants and Calcutta Cup looks an unlikely winner here.
Only 1 winner in the last 10 years won this after only one start and that was Pinatubo. Twaasol steps up in class after 1 start and it’s a big ask for him to win here.
9 of the last 10 winners came 1st or 2nd last time out which points against the Godolphin runner Modern News who was only 5th last time.
Inhaler was 2nd under a penalty last time and may get 2nd again.Mark Johnston has won this race twice in the last 9 years and looks to have a strong chance with Hamadan Al Maktoums Mutazaawed. He improved when winning last time and can progress again. Jim Crowley should start Derby day with a winner.
7/2 looks a very fair price.
